Moto-4 images leaked- Check the expectations with the mobile

As per previous speculation, the Moto X4 might be coming out on August 24 at an event in Brazil. Unfortunately, the invite doesn't specifically mention which model or models will be introduced on that date.

According to the report, the Moto X4 will boast of a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p display and measure 7.99 mm in thickness and weigh in at 163 grams. Further, the next-generation Moto X device is pegged to feature IP68 rating, which makes it water and dust resistance. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm processor 630 with integrated graphics Adreno 508, and it will be sold with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM - this version costs 350 euros.

Apart from this, the specifications of the smartphone have also been leaked. Seemingly dropped in favor of the Moto Z range, the Moto X hasn't had a new addition since 2015 but we can now confirm that Motorola is working on a new handset in the X range.

On the front is a 16 MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size.

The variant shipping to the Asia Pacific region will boast an increased 4 GB of RAM and double the storage space at 64 GB. A 12MP lens laden with dual autofocus, a 1.4µm pixel size, and an f/2.0 aperture apparently serves as the main snapper, while an 8MP one handles ultra-wide angle shots with a 120-degree field-of-view, f/2.2 aperture, and 1.12µm pixel size. The camera will also support 4K video recordings.

On the back, the Moto X4 has a contoured design on its glass back and based on the renders, it should shimmer rather nicely when held in the light. We have come to expect a gold variant, but if I'm being honest, the black look Motorola might be going for with the leaked images looks even nicer.

Moto X4 has recently been spotted in a flurry of leaks including the latest FCC listing.
